IS THIS EVENT FOR ME?
This is for everyone, skill-level doesn't matter. For both climbing and yoga the level of difficulty comes down to how hard you want to push yourself. No matter what your previous experience is, we promise you will find the fun zone of "flow".
HOW DO I GET THERE
We recommend taking the bus+ferry combination from Copenhagen. It takes less then 3 hours and from Rønne it’s less than 20 minutes to the location by car. You can also take the bus or bike to Sandvig. Trust us, it’s really easy to get here. We will send all the details after you sign up.
WHICH TYPE OF CLIMBING WILL WE DO?
This event is all about "bouldering". It's a very social climbing form, where you are always near to each-other as climbs are typically between 2-3 meters only. Crashpads are put to cover the ground and makes falling safe.
WHICH FOOD WILL BE SERVED?
Pension Lindesdal take care of making delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, with focus on organics and a choice of vegan dishes. We prepare lunch bags before going on tour in the morning.
WHICH TYPE OF YOGA WILL WE DO?
In the morning we will start out with awakening the body with easy yoga and meditation and before the climbing sessions we’ll do mobility yoga and acroyoga to get ready for the rocks. After climbing we do cool-down yoga stretches.
DO I NEED TO UNDERSTAND DANISH/ENGLISH?
No, come as you are - language will be no barrier. Climbing is taught in Danish/English as needed, yoga in English, acroyoga English/Danish.
HOW CAN I PAY?
By MobilePay, Paypal or Bank transfer. The full amount must be transferred no later than 10 days after registering. You will have the option to cancel and get a refund (please see the terms in the sign-up form).
WHAT IF I LIVE ON BORNHOLM?
We offer a 500 kr discount if you are a local resident and don’t need accommodation and breakfast. We still want you to be included in the group for dinner, which is included both Friday and Saturday. Lunch is of course also included both Saturday and Sunday. Please write us a message if you want to apply for this discount (limited spots).
WHAT ABOUT CORONA?
We will be following all official regulations and in general be very respectful and careful by for example minimizing close contact and keeping high hygiene levels.
We have a full money-back guarantee if we need to cancel because of corona.
Climbing & kayaking instructor
Laust will be guiding the bouldering sessions and take us to the best spots on the island.
When I started climbing in Bornholms Klatreklub in 2007 I instantly knew that climbing gave me enjoyment and opportunity to meet great people. The breaking point in my own climbing career happened when one of those people took me rock climbing. He showed me that climbing can be adventurous and deeply connected with nature. Today my goal is to be the one that can inspire you to enjoy and feel safe in the nature that is open to anyone who knows it.
RAQUEL KOYA MAPELLI
Yoga and Acroyoga
Raquel will be guiding yoga and acroyoga.
She is an enthusiastic mover with presence and grounding in focus. She is an experienced yoga teacher with her practice as a central pillar in her life, and together with Kasper, she teaches acroyoga around the world. She is behind movement festivals and retreats in Italy, Denmark and Peru.
"Since I was a kid movement has been the key to my happiness and enthusiasm. For me, it is a real tool of life, an excuse to make everybody smile and feel like playful kids. I danced for more than 10 years focusing on improvisation and free movement, and my yoga practice has always been fundamental to improve the awareness and freedom of my body. I aim to practice movement, spreading the feeling of freedom and trust between people, experimenting with creativity and freedom. A smile after an acroyoga practice is a jewel that we should keep in our hearts. "
Co-founder of Nûna, a project in movement and arts, supporting a creative lifestyle, Raquel shares her skills in acroyoga, yoga, prenatal yoga, handicrafts and art restoration in Copenhagen, Italy, and Perú.
Meditation, Mobility, Acroyoga
Kasper will be guiding meditation and acroyoga with Raquel.
He is moving in the world with curiosity and Acroyoga, Hand balancing, Meditation practice and Yoga all have a center role in this exploration - fascinated with finding stillness in movement - continuously exploring new ways to challenge our perceived limits through improvisation. Working with new ways of creating connection and expressing ourselves. With acroyoga he has found the possibility of doing this with a focus on presence and trust in our practice and to meet each other here. He has done his explorations for the last 10 years with yoga, swing dance, rollerblading, running and monkey'ing around in the Danish forests, climbing and of course Acroyoga and is today traveling around Europe doing workshops in hand balancing and acroyoga with the Nûna project (www.nuna.life).
